Gracious country house, converted during the recent renovation of an old station along a small railway that until 1940 connected Monterufoli's steel mine to the national railway system. The property has been renovated with care, leaving the original architecture's charm unaltered.
The furnishing is comfortable, in rustic style with authentic pieces of furniture, and in perfect harmony overall. The building sits in a pleasant position at the center of a large, enclosed natural lawn, and is bordered by a small river (possibility of swimming at certain points of the river).
Within a radius of 35 km there are the Etruscan city of Volterra, the medieval village of Bolgheri (famous for its highly esteemed wines and a beautiful cypress-lined avenue), the Oasi of Bolgheri (natural park, WWF Italy) and Etruscan coast's beautiful beaches such as Marina di Cecina, Marina di Bibbona and Marina di Castagneto.
A secondary road runs by the property.
