Descripciòn
Esplendido castillo con una magnifica torre , construido con el mismo modelo architectonico del palacio Viejo de Firenze. La estructura original del castillo es del año 1100 ma sucesivamente , alrededor del 1600 , la propiedad ha enseguido un importante trabajo de restauraciòn , realizado de la nobile familia Acciaioli.
El castillo , actualmente de propiedad de la familia Posarelli , se encuentra en una amplia propiedad cultivada de Viñas y olivos rodeada del hermoso panorama de la campaña toscana.
“Montegufoni classic” recoge una selecciòn de apartamentos historicos , dotados de un particular charme ; algunos de ellos decorados con muebles de època , otros con hermosas pinturas del 600.
En conjunto ofrece la posibilidad de una permanencia unica e indimenticable en uno de los castillos màs afacinante y antiguos del chianti .
Distancias: Montagnana Val di Pesa (V.P.) con tiendas de vìveres 1 km , Montespertoli con tiendas de todo tipo a casi 5 km , Firenze 20 km , Pisa a casi 70 km .
A disposiciòn de los huèspedes:Amplio parque a forma de terraza con muebles de jardin y ping-pong , hermoso jardin a la italiana , original del siglo XVIII con arboles de limones con una graciosa piscina (12 x 6 m – abierta del 01/04 a 31 /10).
La recepciòn esta abierta desde 8.30-12.30 y 14.30 – 18.30 . La estructura dispone del servicio Restaurante ,ofreciendo platos tipicos de la cocina tradicional toscana ( abierto todas las noches , menos el miercoles de abril a octubre).
Servicios Extras: Ayuda domèstica disponible con suplemento de 12 €,-/ hora (pagar en el lugar ).Con solicitud posibilidad de alquilar cama para bebè a 52 €,- a la semana y una cama suplementar a 77 €,- / a la semana (pagar en el lugar )Lavadora en uso comùn , disponible al interno de la propiedad (3 € ,- a lavado pagar en el lugar). |

On the first morning the Tuscan sunrise streamed into our room and chided us to awake and take in the magnificient view - it was breathtaking! The rolling hills around the Castle Montegufoni over the course of the week changed glorious autumn colours. Our room, was perfectly comfortable - so much so we almost forgot to leave.
The Castle location enabled very easy jaunts around the Chianti countryside (use a GPS!!)
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

La residenza "bastione" si è rivelata un luogo affascinate e suggestivo ove tornare la sera dopo aver viaggiato durante il giorno per la magnifica Toscana. Splendido il contesto del castello, ottima l'organizzazione.

| Great place. Very central to all of Tuscany sites. Will stay there again. Internet was free and fast. Wish the property or booking manager would have highlighted the fact that you should buy your own food for breakfast 'right away'. Between early closing and days off, places to buy things late in the day get few and far between. The staff were very helpful and kind. The restaurant chef was generous with portions and lemoncello. |

| "The castle was absolutely amazing. They have a bus stop out the front which will take you to Florence for 10 euro return in 50 mins. The dinner was fabulous, cooked by Fabio, it was personal, delicious and something to remember. The staff there are very friendly helpful and relaxed. The pool is lovely and as we stayed in the Cardinals rooms, our rooms were palatial" |

The castle was a great place to vacation with friends. The rooms were interesting and so different that anything else we could have chosen! Montegufoni is near enough to Florence that it was an easy day trip, and we were so glad to not be staying in the city! The views from the castle are amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here!
