Estupenda torre ubicada en la plaza del Duomo en el casco historìco de San Gimignano ( unica torre habitable de 14 de la ciudad ).La torre fue construida en el 1200 de la familia Salvucci y es la torre privada màs alta de San Gimignano ( 48 m ).Recientemente la torre à estado restaurada y transformada en una habitaciòn rica de charme , donde es posible transcurrir una permanencia unica , fuera del tempo.
La combinaciòn de la decoraciòn moderna y la estructura antigua , crea una atmosfera extremadamente placentera y confortable.La torre està compuesta de 10 piso habitable con una terraza panoramica ubicada en el ultimo piso.Los pisos se comunican con una escalera de casi 160 escalones.
El centro historìco de San Gimignano es incapacitado al trafico , es posible solicitar un permiso para haber acceso a la casa descargar / cargar las maletas .Lavadora a disposiciòn.La casa no es adapta para los niños.Posibilidad de alquilar el apartamento MEDIOEVO junto a la torre por un total de 48 puestos de cama.
Distancia : Certaldo y Ponggibonsi a casi 10 km , Siena a casi 35 km , Firenze a casi 45 km.

Torre San Gimignano was excellent - we really enjoyed the view from the top of the tower and the market on Tuesdays. Fantastic experience - I would recommend it to anyone.

| I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the tower and recommend it to all who would like to spend their holiday, or at least part of it, directly in San Gimignano. You don't feel like a tourist when staying there. First class views and the facilities in the tower are excellent. I was treated very kindly by the discrete owners (Giulia in particular). I would happily go back. Understand the tower's origins and you won't have any problems with steps etc, rather you will appreciate, value, and enjoy it. |

Torre di San Gimignano is a very special place to stay. Views to die for, breathtaking (both physically and visually - 180 stairs work off all the fantastic food and wine!) An unforgettable experience.
While you're there eat lots of ice-cream (Gelateria di Piazza - best in world!); Drink the local wine!; Try all the restaurants (in particular Ristorante Dorando' - not cheap but 10/10); Buy a leather handbag or two (Le Torri); Music festival week while we were there and evening entertainment with violinists and puppetry was great.
The torre was Inspiring - unique - unforgettable - very special - breathtaking (physically and visually!)
Highly recommend and we want to go back soon!
